Vigilant Eye is the product of years of experience in investigating fraud and embezzlement from the trenches as a police fraud detective, years of advanced schooling and training in forensic accounting, and a unique place in time where the financial technology revolution has provided unprecedented access and market demand for new solutions.
Jesse Gossman created Vigilant Eye after witnessing the organizational devastation and personal toll which occurs after an incident of embezzlement. Jesse is President of the consulting group Bottom Line Fraud LLC, an Iraq War veteran, former Army officer and is still currently employed as an economic crimes detective for a large South Florida police agency. With 13 years of experience in the industry, Jesse has had the opportunity to dissect countless incidents of fraud and embezzlement to discover when and how they started. His unique access to confidential records and firsthand confrontation directly with the fraudsters has given him an insight and understanding of embezzlement which few can rival. His passions for fighting fraud lead him to obtain a master’s degree in accounting with a concentration in forensic accounting from Florida Atlantic University. He went on to obtain designations as a Certified Fraud Examiner and Certified Economic Crimes Forensic Examiner. Through this experience his greatest frustration remains that in nearly all incidents of fraud, the losses could have been greatly reduced if not avoided entirely with closer oversight by business owners. In working with those same business owners he has also learned that this is a task easier said than done; as demands on business owners are great but time is short. Vigilant Eye is the solution that puts Jesse’s years of fraud fighting experience, education, and expertise into the hands of you the business owner.
